University Bookstore
The University Bookstore is a self-operated unit of auxiliary services and all revenues in excess of expenses are used to support student scholarships and on-campus initiatives. Appalachian State's comprehensive rental textbook program is managed by the Bookstore which also provides traditional purchase textbooks. Each campus department has a Textbook Coordinator that can assist faculty with course adoptions. Custom course materials and supplies are also available. Faculty are encouraged to contact the Supplies Buyer, Tami Johnson, to notify the Bookstore of supplies which AppState students are requested to purchase. It is the mission of the University Bookstore to provide all necessary resources for students. The App Store Technology shop is an authorized campus reseller of Apple and Dell computers and accessories. An educational discount is offered to Faculty, Staff and Students of AppState. The Scholars Bookshop is the area's largest general trade bookstore with a large selection of faculty authors. 20% off special orders from Scholars Bookshop.
