The Career Development Center serves all students and alumni pursuing various future professional endeavors. Our services include resume reviews, career coaching, job and internship search assistance, and other tools to achieve life and professional success. We have a strong partnership with our academic departments. Each college has a career development liaison and Career Coach who serves all students and faculty in the departments housed in that college. Appalachian State University uses Handshake for our career management system. Each student has a Handshake account and uses this portal to make appointments with their career coach, register for career events, and search for internships and employment, both part-time and full time, as well as on-campus and off.
