Academic Civic Engagement
Academic Civic Engagement works with faculty to integrate service-learning and other forms of experiential education into teaching and research. Staff is available to discuss your classes and syllabi and also to assist with the logistics of off-campus experiential opportunities. We give class presentations regarding civic engagement and work with students to secure meaningful placements. Faculty are invited to designate their classes as service-learning and also to participate in the Faculty Fellows program, a series of workshops designed to assist with civic engagement integration.
