Consistent with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), it is the policy of Appalachian State University that no qualified individual with a disability in the United States shall be excluded from, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity that receives federal financial assistance. ODR works diligently to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided equal access at Appalachian State University.
ODR assists eligible students, faculty, staff and visitors with disabilities by determining and coordinating academic adjustments or workplace accommodations.
